EBMT Exam 2025
This certificate attests that the recipient has successfully passed an examination based on the EBMT Handbook, thereby demonstrating a solid academic understanding of key principles in haematopoietic stem cell transplantation (HSCT) and cellular therapy.
The assessment confirms knowledge in areas including: evaluating transplant indications in malignant and non-malignant conditions; selecting appropriate conditioning regimens and stem cell sources; assessing donor compatibility through HLA typing; and understanding the management of common post-transplant complications such as graft-versus-host disease (GvHD), infections, and graft failure. It further reflects familiarity with the monitoring of engraftment, chimerism, and disease relapse, and with the principles of multidisciplinary supportive care.
Additionally, the certification acknowledges awareness of the principles and risks associated with advanced cellular therapies, such as CAR-T, as well as working knowledge of ethical frameworks, quality standards (including JACIE), and data management in the context of transplantation.
The EBMT recognises this achievement as a demonstration of evidence-based academic competence and readiness to engage with current practices in transplant and cellular therapy settings.
